The RFL did away with numbered balls a few years ago. They are now all rugby shaped balls with the team's names printed on them.

TBH if we play to our potential in every round there is no team left in the comp who can stop us getting 4 in a row. Thing is we could have an off day or suffer major injury problems.. who knows.

Unlucky Leeds. Fantastic game! I thought right at the end you were going to have your very own "wide to west" moment. We didnt play to our maximum, but neither did leeds. We are both head and shoulders above anyone else in SL, so here's to a crackiing grand final.

I think todays game showed that tbh - I've watched a few other teams this year and really not been impressed. A prime example was the crap churned out by Bradford a so called top team against Cats, that defense was appauling.

Having just driven back home 200 miles, I think Tad sums up my feelings perfectly. I'm very disappointed because I know we are a better team than that.

I think we are all disappointed but some of the rants on here around 6:30 last night were cringeworthy.

I don't do weekend posting, but for what it's worth at this point, I'm not sure I perceive the need for doom and gloom. I was disappointed by yesterday's game, and I think Saints defence was the difference, it was simply outstanding. The better team won on the day, without doubt. However, as a few (mostly Saints fans) have already said, we came off 2nd this time in a game between what are, at present, easily the best teams in the country. There were some disappointing aspects to our discipline and some of our execution in the last third, but there is a lot of time to iron those out. Truth is I think our performance yesterday would have seen us past any other side in the competiton reasonably comfortably. Certainly when compared to the highly entertaining but very low quality showing from Dulls and Dragons earlier in the day, the Leeds v Saints game was several levels up. Shame to lose, but both sides are going to improve as the season goes on, and it's everyone else that has a lot of catching up to do.

Our defence in the first few weeks of the season was excellent, but we seem to be conceding a lot more tries in the last few games. The defence for the Wellens try was very poor from a fairly straightforward scrum move. We do seemt o give a lot of penalties away which I think we need to look at, as many of them yesterday seemed a bit cheap, like the JJB play the ball one.

Are Leeds going to improve? We said this last year and we didn't play anywhere near as well as the Easter games with the Dulls and at Hull until we got everything right in October. However, I still think the WCC was a harder game than the GF, Saints were really poor when we put the squeeze on them, Melbourne were far more physical.

Nice try, but he actually said "no Wembey for the eleventh season" and didn't mention any particular years. As there was some Wembley in '99 you can't count that. Ergo efcrhino seems to be correct to me. Maths was never my strongest subject, but I can count, most of the time, especially when I don't even need to use my toes.

Jungleman was especially irrelevant given that nobody went to Wembley for 7 of those years, whil Leeds did in fact reach the final at the alternative venue in 3 of them.

A bit of an overreaction IMO tad, I am just as disappointed as any Leeds fan that we played so poor yesterday but it doesn’t mean wholesale changes are needed, Saints themselves were in very poor form only 3 weeks ago after the loss to HKR and the 4 point win at Celtic. The Saints and Leeds teams are very evenly matched and all games between them will come down to form & injuries.

As others have said we missed Bailey today (BBC said he had a groin strain), Burgess as good as he is very slow in defence and gets caught out in these big games.
