I think it will be tight, think our young players except for Lane who will debut off the bench have a plenty of games under their belts and have proved they are good enough for SL. If leeds were full strength I'd be worried, but they have some quality players out as well, don't fancy us to win, but think we will give them a game.

Think it could be tight. As mentioned before with the cancellation last week and going off to Melbourne and then putting out a very weakened team vs Widnes this tonight feels like our season starting and would expect us to look a little disjointed and lacking momentum. Some players still working on match fitness.

I like how on this forum its going to be a tough ask for Leeds due to players missing. Whereas on the Hull forum its going to a tough ask for Hull due to players missing.

I think both teams have their fair share of players missing with Leeds probably just edging it.
I doubt there will be much cohesion and like someone has said we are likely to be a bit disjointed.
With Houghton and Kelly missing i would think the odds are in favour but not too sure this time.

Patchy performance, superb defense won it, thought we dropped off a bit it too many spells when we should have put the game to bed earlier.

Thought myler an garbutt were very good, hope garbutts injury isnt too bad. Walters is out of his depth, terrible player

Happy to get the two points tonight, thought we were going to lose it at the end of the game. Thought Watkins and Myler were class tonight. Myler showing everything I thought he would when we signed him.

One player that surprised me tonight was Ash Handley who I thought looked very promising at centre.

Hard fought win & i thought our goal line D was excellent for most of the game.
I still think using a 16 man squad is ridiculous even more so when our BR are all the wrong side of 30 & made to so many minutes.
Myler & Watkins were excellent imo Hall & Garbutt also very good & whilst everyone put a shift in Walters & Mullally were frustrating imo especially defensively.

Oh come on. There was only one player on the pitch who looked so far away from anybody else on it. Nothing close to a rugby player.

Thought Myler was absolutely fantastic though.

Our worst player was Ormondroyd IMO, just ahead of Mullally in what was a good defensive team performance. Knives are out for Walters but he put effort in and made quite a number of tackles.

Myler was my MOM just ahead of Watkins and Adbdull for Hull who was a real handful. Delaney drove the ball in well.

Walters is never going to be a regular starter when everyone is fit but I thought he did a good job defensively tonight. He did a lot of work in the middle. If I recall correctly BM brought him back on late in the game when Hull were pushing for a winner.
Impressed again with Myler, the three quarters will get more opportunities this season imo with him there.

It really is as inevitable as the changing of the seasons.

Good game though. Good quality considering the calibre of some of the players that were missing on both sides. Cant help but feel hard done by with that disallowed Griffin try. Feel like we could have pushed on and taken control of the game had it been given and we had a HT lead.

Pretty sure both teams will be there or thereabouts come the business end.

I thought the Griffin try should've been given, but I also think Talanoa's try was scored off the back of a drop out that shouldn't have been awarded.
