I would like to visit Wembley and watch Leeds play in a final, but as I've posted many times before, the CC is way past it's sell by date. The BBC are embarrassing with their coverage, doing the game no favours at all.

I said to many before the game today I didn't care if Leeds lost. The Grand Final is all that matters.

I never suggested Leeds didn't want to win. I said that I don't care about the CC, and neither does the BBC judging by their amatuerish set up.

If you look hard enough, you'll see that I've longg advocated for the CC to be abolished, or left for the lower leagues to compete for. It messes up the season, especially for you Scousers who put too much importance on it, and then lose the title that really matters.

On the injury front Watkins has a broken nose so thats why Gibbo got the nod.

Watkins played for the reserve's and gibson was always in the 17!

Average rugby this season from leeds. We did well against a poor wigan and catalans didnt show up, apart from that I can't think of any other performances where i came away thinking "wow". It's clear to me that Senior is the linch pin for any winger. Donald looks lost without a quality centre inside him, time up open up the purse strings. Gibson and Watkins are not ready yet. Why against Saints today, 2 weeks ago at KR and also Manly do we leave it so late to put effort in?

Saints. Wiklin was outstanding. We were out classed today and I don't see anything but a clean sweep for the Saints this year.

we were a shambles. the scoreline flattered us. the pack looked lightweight, the decision to play donald on the right clearly isn't working,gibson,sadly, is not good enough. the injuries have really hit him hard. defence was shocking,loads of missed tackles and we never had a good line. the passing was ponderous and the lack of runners was evident.
we played in the centre third nearly all the game despite the fact it was obvious it wasn't working.
the coaching staff need to take stock because at the moment we don't look a patch on last season.
saints were top drawer,fully deserved the win. lets hope they have a good run and injuries bite. we may need it
