We lived in Little London and would walk home from headingley so Osfoth was a bit too far. Though we did briefly try out the Old Ball as our regular haunt but ended up going back to the Three Horseshoes.
Also, Osfoth got a bit tasty every now and then. Didn't they have a mobile cop station for the naughty boys? As reserved little wall-flowers from the affluent estate in Little London we wanted no part of that

| Any pub thats sells Carlsberg isnt worth visiting.
Pin, Midnight Bell and Leeds Brewery Tap are the best boozers in Leeds right now.
Leeds Pale Ale is the best drink on the market at present!

The last time we did the Otley run we started with 12 of us in Woodies. By the time we ended up in Yates opposite Morrisons in town there were 8 left.
Two were in hospital with broken legs after vaulting a small wall only find a 6 foot drop on the the side and two had been banged up for fighting.

Why do some "blokes" get so pretentious about larger, its main/only purpose in life is to get you p1ssed, I couldn't give a toss where or how it's brewed.

What's the other Leeds Brewery pub, down near The Adelphi? I've been in the other 2, in fact we bobbed into the Brewery Tap before the game on Sunday, but I've not done the 3rd one.
Oh, and Headingley Taps - the reverse Tardis. Huge looking pub that about 5 people can actually fit inside.

I thought The Sphinx closed quite some years ago? Either way, I agree it's something best avoided.
As for them pubs, Miners is not far from me, not that I go in that often; Cellar Bar is an infrequent, yet appreciated, haunt; and The West Riding is the pub I'm in more than any other, so it's a small world, etc, etc.
The others in West Yorks I've not done, but it sounds like a good day out does that one, might have to give it a go at some point.
