78 games and 42 tries. Pretty good for a bottom three side. Give him service and he'll score tries. Would have liked to see him kept on at Salford.

Very solid player and he will have a field day playing alongside Justin Carney.As has been said he has an excellent scoring record playing in what have been some woeful teams.If you ask any Salford fan i think the vast majority would like to have seen him stay but after the loyalty he showed to us he goes with everyones best wishes and genuinely hope he has a great season with you guys.

Good player who is coming towards his best years. Can play FB, wing or centre.

Not sure if I quite agree with the above comments, a very average player who is suspect in defence. Can get you a try or two but only through support. Either a winger or centre but not a FB and definately not a hooker. For me, he is not SL standard

Only through support, jeeze 99% of centres /wingers tries are through support play. Stick to tiddlywinks

Although he may not be a hooker, the Salford coach (a former international hooker) has played him there a few times this season, usually as the replacement hooker. He's also made a couple of fleeting appearances in the second row in recent years, although he's really far too small for a forward.

The point you should take from this is that he is pretty much the complete utility player. Not outstandingly brilliant in any one position, but can fill in anywhere, apart from the big forwards.

As has been mentioned, he usually scores by getting himself on the end of moves. (And just to clarify: this is a [igood[/i thing.) He seems to score a lot of tries by somehow wriggling over from close range too.

He's consistent. One of our best players? No.

However, as a utility player it's your job to fill in where required and he's done that without making a mess of it. Plus he does have a knack of scoring tries. Not a bad habit to have.

He'll do a good job for Cas, just like he has for Salford. Plus he might bring in a few females admirers being a model and all...
