| This is the team i would pick..
Owen
Thompson
Evans
Shenton
Wainwright
Chase
Sherwin
Sargent
Hudson
Huby
Jones
Ferres
Westerman
Jackson
Snitch
Netherton
Higgins
I would take a gamble on Thompson on the wing, and also have a big bench to combate Leeds, who will have four forwards on the bench. I would feel for Widders if dropped, but i just couldnt find a place for him.

| I think I kind of agree with you - but I expect:
McGoldrick
Owen
Evans
Shenton
Wainwright
Chase
Sherwin
Sargent
Hudson
Huby
Jones
Ferres
Westerman
Jackson
Snitch
Widders
Higgins
For some wierd reason, I can see us going through that whole mess when Hudson needs a rest: Hudson to bench, Owen to FB, back rower to centre, Goldy into halves and Rangi to hooker.......
I don't know why, but I can see us going that way and using Westy like a back rower and playing 4 back rowers (Jones, Ferres, Westerman, Widders) and 5 props (Huby, Sarge, Jackson, Snitch, Higgins).... Basically I said on another post and agree with CGP - we will go negative to not lose by a lot and it might just work for us if the heavens open on a boggy track?!?

Widders is on form, he has to play. Id drop Netherton and put Jones on the bench as cover at hooker and 2nd row and start Widders.

| I think it's safe to say that Owen won't be picked at full-back, unfortunately.

| My team would be
Owen
Evans
Shenton
McGoldrick
Wainwright
Chase
Sherwin
Sargent
Hudson
Jackson
Ferres
Snitch
Westerman
Subs
Huby
Jones
Widders
Higgins
I would give McGoldrick a run in the centres as that is what we bought him for and to be honest Evans hasn't exactly set the world on fire while being there.

| I think we will be vulnerable out wide facing Scott Donald and Ryan Hall. Wainwright, as much as he tries can't keep pace with those two.
It really pees me off when we play players out of position, so what about...
Owen
Evans
Widders
McGoldrick
Shenton
Chase
Sherwin
Sarge
Hudson
Huby
Jones
Snitch
Ferres
Subs
Jackson
Netherton
Higgins
Westerman (impact)

That would be my team with the exception of Huby and Jackson swapping places.Jones coming on at hooker for Hudson. I very much doubt this will be the team though

How did Huddersfield use Jackson? From what I remember they started him and used Crabtree from the bench.

| I fail to understand anyone's faith in McGoldrick coping with either Senior or Delaney. I foresee a combination of ill-timed and/or missed/unattempted tackles letting his opposite number clean through or over exposing our wingers.

Surely you don't mean a mirror image of when he plays full back, and over exposes our line!
The number of times I've seen him half heartedly attempt a tackle as last man! Just bend your back!!!!

| wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow calm darn Smokey not having a go matey im agreeing with you, Owen is the first choice full back in my mind, Goldy plays well i dont know where but only in the world that is TM does Goldy seem to be a fullback and and standoff and scrum half and hooker and loose forward and possibly water boy if needed. what i put is basically questioning who in their right mind would pick goldy as fullback knowing that his defense is as bad as it is (TM) and at times its amaturish at best. sorry for the confusion
