It gets a very nice covering of Bottles every now and again. Which helps it and protects it from the sun.

Not as good as Belle Vue, similar surface but not being a full size pitch let's it down for me.

What lets Belle Vue down is that for a few games in the season it's covered in sand, the Jungle never is during the season, which makes the Jungle slightly better imo.

First Blaymire was dropped when he wasn't and now BV is covered in sand on match days when it never has been.

Do you just make these random bits of b*llocks up or do you really belive it - I fear the worst.

Though I must admit a number of Quins fans told me for no obvious reason that they thought BV was average and a bit gritty compared to the Bungle so you may be right.



BV is better because it's a full size pitch no other reason, which is fact - otherwise I couldn't give a monkeys.

The Saints game the pitch had sand kicking up from it, a few times I've been down there the pitch has been covered in sand too.

But you stay there in your little Wakefield is perfect bubble you live in.

All pitches get sanded even yours, however there was no sand on the pitch as I recall v Saints.

They're also only used by 1 sports team at a time, which will help tremendously as the grass has time to grow without being trampled on by something every week of every month.

actually you are wrong technically , a couple of years ago we won awards for the pitch and it was being used by emely and wakefield fc plus leeds utd reserves
