For clarity, some people on Sunday told me that the reserves which are one of our clubs "foundations" was being mainly funded by the club. But I also saw a large cheque being presented by the wonderful team at the Supporters Trust.

Does anyone know how much the club actually spends on this, or is it all coming from the Trust?

I stand to be corrected but the last time I heard anything was that originally a few years back the Trust asked the club what they would like to use the funds the Trust raised on and it was decided that they would be used on the under 21's or 20's or 19's whatever they were at the time and now the reserves.

Often all we see and hear about is when a check gets handover but the work that goes on behind the scenes to make that happen is huge.

I also stand to be corrected,but i'm sure i resd somewhere that 100k
was earmarked for reserves/junior development this season.The trust raises an excellent 25k which i think fully covered the u20 costs in previous years.

What is the point of having a reserve team.we don't play anyone surely we would be better off using the money to strengthen the first team.if get a good young player a super league team signs them up.it makes no sense whatsoever.
