A big loss indeed, and probably the lack of game time has caused this? Interesting that the same article suggests that Ryan Boyle is joining us on a permanent basis. Good news if so, but he does need to get some tips and advice from Scott around how we expect Fax players to perform on the pitch (total and unequivocal enthusiasm!) if he's to prove himself with us!

Yes

I was wondering what had happened to him.
He has had some stonking games for Fax and will be missed.
I don't think he will be the last outgoing for next season depending on where we finish and the funding available.

Fully agree and with the pack in mind RM has stated a couple of times ( Batley and recently away at Haven) that we have been out muscled so it will be interesting to see what the changes will be.
Some of the younger promising lads will likely get a bit more game time if they are performing.

If you look closely, the article title and first line is at complete odds with the rest of the story. It's in the gossip section and states that Batley are considering an approach yet it's reported as a done deal. Obviously, I would prefer we kept a player of Richard's quality, however, he is getting on and IF there is young blood to come through then wages need to be considered.

He's in contention for sunday and may well be useful in the coming weeks.Don't know how why fell out of favour unless he was Scapegoated for Whitehaven.Where he plays next season is an annoying irrelevance at this stage.

The 'reporter' responsible for this article is a bit of a tool. Seems to get most of his stories from forums like this. As someone else has pointed out the article contradicts itself.

I sincerely hope this is not true. He is a a great asset to the pack when he comes on and if anything he doesn't get enough game time for me as it is. He is one of our Misters in the pack when it comes to the rough stuff and was badly missed at Haven. He looked to have a shoulder issue when he warmed up with the players at Dewsbury and didn't take part in any contact. Certainly put it in today at Swinton!
