Thoughts are home teams have 4 home games so this levels it up.
Works out all S/L teams start playing a team from our league.
Does this seem logical.

It does, gives them a chance to get points on the board and batter us about,mleaving U.S. open to play another SL team the week after.
But I'm not really a cynic.

A bit of overthinking here. Ground availability and Sky's choices are factors too.

Yes, ground availability will be an issue for us, Tiwn are just about to start with their 3 games a week season.

That's the pitch buggered then but it'll be our fault as usual.

It's a big problem for ground-sharers. It may eventually prove to be the straw that breaks the 12/8 back.

only 21 hours 39 minutes to go ......

In reality it's no different this season to previously as we would have had a couple of league games left before the playoffs, season ends around the same time I think.

I was thinking more along the lines that they know their fixtures before you know yours. If booking's on a first come, first served basis, soccer clubs had the advantage in spring and we had it in autumn. Now soccer get their oar in first at both ends of the season.



It'll need sympathetic management from the RFL - especially in $uperleague, where more games are televised.
