| Mark Aston, Mitch Stringer and Ryan Brierley for me.
Warrington had no reps either in the SL one.
I think it's great that the lesser teams in the Championships are recognised in this way.

| Wouldnt it be better to wait until the season ends?
If Leigh were to win the Grand Final, wouldn't that make Paul Rowley the best coach?

| Would be silly if Aaron Brown didnt win the young player award given he has been nominated for the main award. Saying that though I can honestly say I have no idea who he is.

| Coaching-wise, other than the excuses he comes out with on interviews, Mark Aston has to be the best coach in the Championship... maybe some doubts on that over the last few games... we'll see in the next couple of weeks. Squad-wise, Fev and Fax have the best collective group of players (across the full squad), and we may well be competing for the top spot in the playoffs soon. Without dissing Karl, it would be interesting what MA could do with the current Fax squad?

| To be fair Mitch Stringer does make around 30 tackles a game and not all are 3rd man in he probably does make a few on his own... And he does always want the ball in good ball so you can understand why he has been nominated

Can't wait really. Players disappear on holiday after the season ends, World Cup coming up etc etc.
Is the best coach the coach of the side that wins the comp ? I'd choose the coach who got the best out of his resources.

| Doncaster coach has worked wonders this season and his team would probably be lining up against Sheffield today but for wakefield recalling players

Yep your right it is.
If donny hadn't linked with wakey they may have ended up fighting relegation instead.

| I think the Player of the Year awards have been decided on a points based system this season, similar to the Albert Goldthorpe medal.

Like I said, it's a good idea to pick the awards before the end of the season!
