Its just a horrible place and Rubbish view. Thats if its at the Don Valley. Atmosphere is rubbish too. The only upside i see to this draw is that no matter what, One Championship club will be in the quarter finals. I hope its Fax at home to Leeds or Warrington.

What an amateurish draw that was. One team home to Workington Town , another team away to Workington Town ,'how many teams left' etc pathetic.

With the way we are playing at the moment i am pretty confident that we will beat the seagulls.

I have been told that even if we beat seagulls, we will not get a home draw due to woerk being doner on the Shay. No matter what, we are away apparently.

We could always ask them to move the match to The Shay, more revenue for them. Hope it's not going to be a Friday night match, that would really cap it all.

It's a well known fact that most of the Town supporters blame Fax for the state of the pitch, but as one eminent fax official said yesterday, when we finish our season in October the pitch is pristine, by the time we get to a pre season friendly it's in a terrible state.

I think it's a great draw for both clubs. Don't really understand the fascination with playing a big club and losing, yes it raises a bit of cash but I'd much rather have a winnable tie and a chance of progression, which this certainly is for both Sheffield and Halifax.

We've had HFC, HKR, St Helens, Wigan, Catalans all in the last few years, lost the lot, novelty wears off after a while!

The Cup 1/4 final is scheduled for 14th July. The Shay pitch work will be complete by then.
But it would be wise to wait until after the 5th Round before choosing opponents for the 6th Round!

Well, it's looking like Sheffield United will be in the League 1 playoffs, but they play the weekend before, so hopefully we should be at Bramall Lane

I think it's an awful draw for Halifax. Sheffield are a very tough side to beat, they currently have good knockout comp mentality reaching the last two consecutive GF's and i suspect the friday night factor will come into play. We have to go there in a league fixture soon too, but i think if we go there in good health & current form we can win.
If we fail to win it'll be a poor financial return out of this tie by comparison to the other away ties we could possibly have pulled.
