| Just heard this morning that the staff at The George hotel were told to go home yesterday and they locked the doors of the hotel ,I am wondering about the Museum especially as we are in the World Cup year and I do know the hotel had taken several bookings for the World Cup .This has hapened before so I wondered if Stevo` might be better finding a differant location , either that or the RFL sell Red Hall and move in to the George.

| 1) Thought that Red Hall is leased to the RFL and as such the RFL cant selll it!
2) The RFL should not waste money buying the George. The RFL is shedding a load of Jobs so clearly has no money to buy the George
3) The stuff in the museum is safe from what I hear and remains the property of its owners, not the property of the owners of the Hotel.

Yes the property remains still safe I was thinking more about where the museum would be best going to given it`s the year of the World Cup.As this is the second time in 9 months this has hapened it could do with a new home maybe move it to Red Hall then.

| I believe that the RFL do now own Red Hall outright. It may be by long lease from Leeds City Council, rather than freehold, but it is certainly saleable, albeit I am sure that will not happen unless the Governing Body's finances deteriorate very significantly.
Despite its grand name, and imposing frontage, Red Hall is not a substantial property. The office accomodation is cramped with complex stairs and corridors. It is certainly not approriate as a museum.
However, there is still space to let at The Shay???

| Unfortunately The George Hotel is not as iconic as Bradford Bulls. It will have to join Salford on the scrap heap.

What a good idea, except "TOWN "would need to spend an awful lot of money on enough camouflage to cover a whole museum full of stuff as we will not be talking about a few bits of curtain and a couple of big pictures here you know.

| I'm sure upon his return to the UK Stevo will be keen to get the collection back on display ASAP. The Centre was closed but was due to re-open in February ready for the World Cup Year.
It'd be nice to keep it local, but unless someone can sponsor it and pay rental for a place to house it all, it could end up anywhere, would be a travesty if it has to go into storage long term though
