Good Evening - Here is the information for this years 2012 Summer Bash. We are again looking to raise monies for the U23's and provide the club with its future talent. Last year the event raised nearly £4000 and was a really great night up at The Venue.

This year though we have taken the Summer Bash to Casa in Brighouse and it all takes place on Friday 29th June, the night after the home game with Featherstone. The event will again be informal and offer excellent value for money (ask anyone that attended last year!!). The price for the event will again be £25 each or £225 for a table of 10 to add a player to your table the cost will be £240. This cost includes all your food and entertainment at what is a superb venue. We have the marque and a sizeable outside area available too (just in case we do get good weather!!).

The Entertainment - Is this year provided by the club staff / players as we are holding a "Fax's Got Talent" competition and the lineup is a closely guarded secret!! This will be followed by a Disco til Late!!

The Food - Is a Hot / Cold Buffet with Lasagne, Moussaka, a cold cut selection which includes home prepared meat and fish and a BBQ selection of Burgers, Sausages and Chicken plus the usual salads, pastas etc. This will be followed by a selection of NY Cheesecake, Profiterole Tower, Citrus Lemon Bruleé for dessert. Also available will be a Cheeseboard Table and a Coffee Table to round it all off!!

The Auction - Last year we had a great response to the auction and we will hopefully have similar items to bid for. Last year we had: A Family Season Ticket (for next season), A Directors Box and one for the ladies . . . .Buy a player as a slave for the day!!!

Please support this event, it's aim albeit to raise funds for Halifax RLFC and the U23's is to attract people and businesses in and around Calderdale to an excellent event that offers superb value for money! So talk to your boss and use it as a mid year party or bring your friends and family to an informal but fun night out. You don't have to like rugby to come to this evening so invite everyone you know!!

Remember we donate all funds we raise to the club to help run / pay for the next generation of Fax Stars in the U23's and a couple of these lads are already knocking on the 1st Team door.

Chris, the £240 for a table with a player, is that 10 guests + a player, or 9 guests + a player?

As Chris says a table of 10 = £225 and if you want a player as well it will be an extra £15 =£240 , I agree it should be an excelant night hope to see you there.

i think our group will be booking a table, will get it sorted this week and sort out who's booking it ect
