As a family member of one of the players i would like to congratulate the team for winning the cup 2 years running. But about the players all leaving so they should. Halifax does nothing for their youth they recently scrapped U17's and 18's to set up a U21's which means 30 odd youths have now no club and i personally know a couple which have left for huddesfield

Yet all you people think halifax do stuff for the amatuer players looking for the step up and no wander there all leaving and halifax only has a fem homegrown players

Until Halifax realise it's about developing youth rather than buying 30 something PNG's and Aussies the club is never going to progress

I'm getting fed up of folks bashing this club of ours when they don't know the reasons why Halifax don't have an under 21's , under 18's or anything else.
One day it'll all come out in the wash & the truth will be told, it's not my place to discuss it on an internet forum either.

And it gives me great pleasure to know that I was actively involved in scouting young RL players who are good enough to get picked up by SL clubs over the last three years or so, I/the Halifax club must have been doing something right, I wonder why those boys chose Halifax initially over the SL clubs ? I ought to know, I co-ordinate the scholarship. End of conversation really......

I'm not fussed buddy, my name is attatched to the scholarship page, I have nothing to hide & yes I do defend some aspects of our club & the way it is run, but some things are taken out of the club's control.
