If he's made mistakes hopefully he'll get a carpetting. Mind you, if he favours the home side again, Let him do what he wants

It seems he alternates battered Widnes at home, then Leigh away, so it looks like he will batter Fax at home next.
He is truly awful though, all you want is a standard interpretation of the rules, all he did was get told what to do by Harris all night. 18-6 penalty count, 10-2 second half, sent off Hobson binned stewart after we went in 6-0 up playing up the hill. Lost 2 players first half, so only had 2 subs for 65 mins as well.
Fantastic spirit at Leigh, young local team that will grow as the season progresses. If we get a couple of loanees and avoid injuries you never know.

Both of their tries actually came during that ten minutes - if Hobson wasn't such a numpty then we could still be playing now and Fev wouldn't have scored.

Worst referee I have seen in a long time is that Child. He will do his best to ruin your game on Sunday. The whistle is never out his mouth and he has never heard of advantage - he thinks the crowd have come to see him.

I'd just like to point out that despite the protests of the Widnes fans he didn't give them a caining against Oldham. The penalty count was 9-11 or 12-13 depending which paper you read. Yes he sent Wildbore off, but as with Hobson it seems, that was perfectly justified. The Widnes fans just seemed to suffer from a case of mass hysteria fueled by there own ignorance of what is a very good Oldham side. Most of them were screaming for holding down penalties before tackles had even been completed and the Widnes players, instead of adapting to the way the ref was applying the rules, proceded to throw the toys out of the pram and sulk. Childs didn't get much wrong in that game, indeed I don't think I had any complaints about any of the penalties he gave against Oldham. Leigh - fev however may have been different. Everyone has a bad day at the office.
