Any chance of having Qlt back then go for him big time . He gave everyone else so much room because he is very hard to predict.

We are but we will be his 2nd choice if he can't get a SL gig.

Agree with everything said about Sharp, brilliant at what he does but QLT made a massive difference to our attack. To be honest I dont think Moss is a patch on either of them. Everyone can see where the problems are likely to be but Marshall may be too stubborn to do anything about it.

QLT, as LTD posted wants to stay in SL with this weeks press saying so far 1 SL club has made a tentative enquiry and are looking to see if they can find a place for him.

Maybe still a chance for us as not only will he want to stay but play, will any SL club offer him a regular start that Fax would or just a squad place?

If we can get QLT for the right money then we’d be daft not to but if we can get Grix as well then we should but that would be a massive percentage of our wage bill.

Yes he would be! He has been fantastic for Wakefield - Yes he lacks pace as he is now older but what he brings to the team far outweighs that as a negative. I would not put it past Grix joining up with you next season although Chester still seems to view him as the best FB at the club and has given him another year on his contract!

We had the chance to sign AOB while he were still at Bradford but it would have meant RM having to get rid of a couple of players. RM decided against it and the rest is history. He certainly seems to be missing a ruthless streak.

Rule one - Recruit players on contracts that will be financially ok for the club, throughout the whole length of the contract.
Rule two - Make sure that when you add the cost of all the contracts up you will have the ability to pay them.

Does QLT take up a quota place?

I would have thought that, having played in the UK for so many years he would be off quota unless his time in Toronto resets his status.

We need some decent centres.

I am not particularly a Tyrer fan but for me he's had a good solid season. Butler the coaching staff may see as second row but he's a good as well Charlie runic man and him cancelled each other out at wines. Then there is Woody mr versatile. Qlt for me would answer a multitude of problems with the space he creates for others. I wish we could have had him in for the widnes game ..it might have just swung the result.

QLT would be a great signing on a few levels. A good player, he would make other players better and it would at last show a bit of ambition from the club, albeit he's not a spring chicken. The inability to improve attendances significantly must be very frustrating but as long as the club appear, rightly or wrongly, happy to just plod along things won't improve. Next season could be just the right time for Fax to kick on, extra funding from this season, LS28's great efforts and the new structure, let's hope that is exactly what we do. Up The Fax!

Heard Lee Smith has signed for Halifax. Was told to stay away from Bulls training recently. Gardening leave so to speak.

I hope not. I think he is past his sell by date and being politically correct he has seen an increase in size which has resulted in a loss of pace.

He wasn't that effective as a player this year. Agree with the putting on weight. We have missed his leadership tho.
