As a fev fan, I have heard nothing of the sort. There is, among the fans chatter about going for the treble, as the fax fans have already mentioned. Most fans beleive this is an aspirational target, not a likely one.

Any quotes about the boardroom comment? I'm struggling to think of the possible personality on our board who would make a comment like this.

The difference is when there is discussion and banter between fev and batley fans, the 'size' of the club is frankly not even worthy of note. We are all rugby league!

Get real son you are not massive on the field or off it ...and while you look backwards to past victorys you never will be.

You are probably right, past vicories are great to look back on, but more important is now and future.

But when we get excited and enthusiastic about the coming season we get accused of being arrogant, can't win..:......

I am excited and really looking forward to next season. We won't have our own way all the time but I do expect to win more than we loose (hopefully)

Anyway, there was me thinking we were building bridges..

At a recent meeting of the Press Association all editors of Fleet St. papers asked for open reporting and comments.

I think building their pitch on the side of a hill sums up how thick the folk of Batley are. What WERE they thinking ..... and haven't they heard of "spirit levels" over there?
