Shaun Ainscough missed Batley's last clash with flu but James Craven came off with an injury so we may see the former Super League flyer at full-back, which will bring up a nice contest should he be in a one-on-one situation with QLT.

From our point of view, I won't have any qualms if Aston picks the same 17. I don't envisage him tinkering with selection for a pretty 'big' match considering the two teams respective starts.

Prediction - Sheffield 26-14 Batley

Think I'd like to see Molloy for worrincy but other wise the same - I think we will restrict them to one again but we might find it a bit harder than whitehaven 18 - 6 to the Eagles

I would also prefer keeping Batley to nil as per last year at Keepmoat - ( I can't understand why the Mark Aston fan club at Batley had such a downer on Owlerton when they won there

Eagles are 10 Point Favourites it is a difficult game to assess as Bately have only conceded 26 Points in 3 Matches however two were against relegation contenters and the Halifax game was played on a mudbath I will go for an eagles win by 6.

Good Win in a close match I thought at one point in the second half Batley would go on and win the game but we defended well and deserved to win but only just we can play better however our next three matches a workington h hunslet and doncaster are all very winnable and if we get all six points It will be an excellent start to the season

Some excellent defence by the Eagles. Batley came out for the 2nd half with all guns blazing and tbh I thought that they would nick it so all credit to the Eagles.
