I did see mention of the Sheffield Walk of Fame/Sports Legends so upping the profile of Aston senior needs to be on the agenda.

No better time than 2015 to do it. Think if we have a decent run and get into the top 4, more media exposure for the club means more recognition for Mr Aston. Obviously, it's not all down to Mark as he has great assistants in Larder, Senior and now Langley to an extent, but I'm sure he'll take the credit.

It was a pity it didn't work out for Langers at Rovers because he is a very good player. He seemed somewhat overshadowed at Rovers by strong personalities and then had that season ending injury. I was sad to see him go and feel he would fit in nicely in the new cohort - being around Travis was difficult to say the least.

You have a cracker in Langers, good luck for the forthcoming season, it will be a struggle to make the 4 but you never know, London in particular will find it hardest to settle.

Thanks for the well-wishes for the new season, same goes to you. Eagles have been known for being a team with a good spirit so Langers should fit in just fine.

The top 4 isn't out of our reach, the three full-time teams should occupy the top three positions unless something really goes belly up. Featherstone, Halifax, Sheffield, and Dewsbury are all challengers for the top 4 in my opinion. It'll be interesting to say the least.

Fat lady hasn't even started tuning up yet.

I noticed Dewsbury's odds for the challenge cup were 250 to 1 less than ours



Personally I don't rate them think Batley are in with a better chance

Dewsbury have signed some good calibre players that will stand them in good stead. Wouldn't say they're 250 to 1 better than ours though..
