Charlie has always rated Smeaton as a very good centre , if he can show he is fit then he will be a very good signing for you , I think you Seagulls will be up there in the mix for the top 4 next season .

I'm sure the 'if he stays fit' line will stay with Smeaton for a while until he breaks the mould. I'd like to think we can be in and around the top 4 after some good signings, but we'll see.
