Exciting announcement by Sheffield Eagles on Tuesday. Think it's got to be plans on the stadium, even though Tubby's been looking for some reinforcements for the squad. A win tomorrow and the announcement on Tuesday would be perfect, maybe a feel good factor coming back! Here's hoping..

At this stage I can't see that we need Carl Briggs we need a new stadium!

If the news is only a loan signing, it will be a big disappointment.

Looks like it is the loan signing of Mr Briggs good player but not the news most of us wanted.......

Carl Briggs ? That's turning back the clock a few years.

Decent player, and gives us more opportunity to spice things up in the halves, may get some better performances out of Dom and Patch now.

Two and a half year deal for Kyle Briggs! Very good. Hopefully he hits the ground running.

He was good for us several years ago in Championship One (or whatever it was called at that time); unfortunately not kicked on as much as his potential suggested, but probably because he has struggled to settle anywhere. He is still the kind of player who can pull something from nothing

According to Jim Collins in The Star, moves to bring Kyle Briggs to the Eagles have stalled.

Briggs was exactly the sort of player we needed on Sunday, Walker was inept with his kicking and he'd have brought a different outlet. He's said thank you to everyone at Dewsbury and Fev on Twitter so something drastic must have happened if that's the case.

So is he or isn't he or are Fev hoping that they can take Q in exchange?

Two minutes later :- Just looked on Fev site THEY have our press release - he is deffinately ours!!

Seems like Briggsy will be in the squad for Sunday. A must win match and one I'm pretty confident about after the Leigh match.
