But Premier sports have now thrown the toys out of the pram and will not be screening any championship games in 2014

As it stands no one will broadcast championship games in 2014 is this a good thing (given that premier pay next to nothing) or a bad thing for this year?

I thought Premier Sports did a great job - apart from not being bothered to ask Q how his name was pronounced - but they didn't have any money.

What it cost the clubs - and players - to play on Thursday nights wasn't compensated by the free tv exposure we got.

I'll miss the coverage but financially, it's a Good Thing.

Thats annoying but being on Sky next year will give us more exposure even though i am not a subscriber i will probably have to watch some dodgy stream or go to a sports bar to watch it

I used to subscribe to Premier Sports before i got it free with virgin there was talking about charging Virgin Customers in 2014 but i am still getting it free anyway who will pay for it once the ice hockey season has finished ? their spring summer schedule the only sports of value will be NRL (which can be seen free on betting websites) & Nascar (Which is even worse than f1) I am not sure how they are going to get any subscribers I am surprised BT Sport have not brought them for the NHL coverage and it would have given them a foothold into rugby league.

Fully agree with everything you say there. I think if they had moved games to a tuesday which was a possibility this year attendances for live games would have dropped even more than a thursday night

For me the NRL coverage is great but on the downside I'm usually at work when it's on so on that basis I will be canceling my subscription which is a shame as i've enjoyed there Rugby League coverage

Also the loss of conference football to BT last year was a big blow, I'm not sure where they go from here

They have more NRL than I have time to watch and they cover GAA too. I'll be keeping my subscription on.

I have premier with sky and it's been switched off until 5.30

What was supposed to be on ? Some RL back-catalogue game ?
