Apparently there's voting today on whether club call will be introduced to the Championship playoff system now we're running with eight teams ala Super League.

Also there will be discussions about the venue for the two finals this year. There's talk about moving the NRC final from Blackpool to either Leigh or Halifax. Can you imagine reaching the final then having that eurphoria immediately shot by realising the final is at The Shay and your big day out is in Halifax? I think I'd rather lose in the semis. Nothing against Halifax but it's hardly a venue for a final.

I don't know where they'd move the GF to, possibly Headingley.

Bramall lane would be a good venue but then again it would be unfair on the opposition,us having home advantage

A final in Halifax is like having an all inclusive summer sun holiday in Inverness.

This could be a good game...

Like checking into a 5* hotel and sleeping on an air bed.

Like visiting Michelin star restaurant and having a bag of pork scratchings.

Like having a tremendous occasion in a world famous resort, and moving it to Halifax.

I wouldn't just dump it. It's nice to have an extra competition that you can realistically win besides the Grand Final.
