We lost 36-16 but put up a very valiant effort by all accounts.

Seriously, ESO how do you feel about going to Bramall Lane, I have a cousin who is a Manchester City supporter and he will not go to Old Trafford unless City are playing there.

He loves it.

As far as he's concerned, it's (one of) the Eagles' home ground(s).

Why should I care? United only started playing there because their older, bigger, more successful neighbours let them!

In all seriousness it doesn't really bother me as I love my RL and love watching the Eagles. Obviously I'd rather us not play there but it's a better option than Don Valley that's for sure.

It's not something I particularly lose any sleep over.

Thanks for your comments halifaxjohn - good name that halifax being a carbuncle on what is otherwise a decent county, you take after it. Anyway yes we lost to wigan in a league you can't get a team into because you don't have a good enough (any at all) development squad. You see those teams who actually deserve to be in the super league develop their junior squads whilst others, like yours, don't give a ..... . Dont worry carbunclejohn I'm sure you can have loads of fun trying to take the p&%% out of other clubs but we all know that its only because you have an inferiority complex (justly) about your own. Thank you griff, his comments so upset me I even contemplated suicide, then I looked out of my window and saw the Pennines stretching out before me I thought of the idyllic life I lead, retired at 50 on a superb pension and thought no, despite being so badly hurt, despite me being called a carbuncle and my beloved town being called a carbuncle I will carry on. Better to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, than to give in over such a hurtful slight.



P.s He's probably right about Halifax Town Centre, especially the St John's area which looks like down town Kabul, I very seldom visit it.
