Just a bit of an off-season rant about how everything has been so quiet lately.

Every club in our division are well and truly promoting themselves for next season.

We have signed some really good players like Dom, and Knowles but the we haven't announced it on the website or anything to help promote the club. The only place I've seen it is in the Sheffield Star.

We've had such a great season and now is the time to build the fan base we need for 2012. Off the back of getting to the final, season ticket details should of been announced by now.

I know everyone involved at the club full deserves some down time after the great season we've had but the likes of Featherstone have released details about all their friendlies, season ticket prices etc. Why aren't we doing the same?

I'm confused by the thread title.

All is quiet, like the moon. I've not much imagination.

Anyway, it's been a bit difficult recently as Mark and Tim have both been away with the Ireland squad and Simon Proctor has taken a well earned holiday.

Also, as far as I know, the RFL haven't said how many home games there will be this season as the format of the league has only just been decided and there still hasn't been an announcement about the format of the Northern Rail Cup. This would make it difficult for the club to set a season ticket price when they are still unsure over exactly how many home games there will be.

I am sure when Mark and Tim get back announcements will soon follow.

I hope that we have a kick-off event/kit launch.

But also it's down to supporters to do what they should and actually support the events.

NRC is staying the same and will be reviewed for the 2013 as far as I know and if other clubs like Fax: www.halifaxrlfc.co.uk/page.php?id=1874 can announce season tickets, why can't we?

Season tickets are an outdated concept.

Membership scheme would be my preference but seeing as almost every professional spectator sports team in this country operate by season tickets they will do me just fine.

We are past ration books with stamps and coupons now Griff, not the war anymore!

Yet we still buy season tickets, based on the Victorian Members' club model.

So when are our season tickets/membership cards/ration books available? My money will be going on other things pretty soon.
