I know this is slightly off topic but come May both United and Wednesday could both be playing in league one. Do you think we could jump on the back of this anyhow and help get more fans to games?

No, instead of being cynical and negative about every idea why don't we try to entice some of the 5,000 fans which have seen the owls average attendance drop from around 23,000 to 18,000 since they have entered league 1 to watch some RL.

And before someone goes on about owls fans won't go to Bramall Lane, okay lets say United sadly get relgated and they have the same drop off of fans and we try and get say 10% of them to games.

That an extra 500 fans out our home games. I'm not saying it will happen and if it does they would come to every home game but in these times every extra bit of money coming into the club helps!

If Uni*ed go down they'll lose a LOT more than 10% of their average attendances! They're already dwindling away.

Football is dying in this city and we should find a way to use that to our advantage

I know they will lose alot more that I meant if we get 10% of the fans they do lose would be excellent for us.

Wednesday and United fans are incredibly loyal. They've been watching rubbish for years so Division Three is nothing new really.

Regardless of whether there in the premier league or the conference,Any potential fans should be encouraged to come with offers etc,This should have already been done,The eagles have always had good marketing ideas but just never gone for it and followed it through with any momentum and always let the momentum slip away ie Feath game (Big crowd),Even Eagles TV,if your doing something dont just stop doing it halfway through,It looks amateurish,Probably all down to time and finance,It seems whenever we get the momentum with anything it peters out into nothing,Id love to see the season ticket sales this year,No problem with existing season ticket holders but would be interesting to see how many new season ticket holders there is,Ideally adverts on Unied website etc but nothing,Surely if were playing at there ground we could advertise,Just a simple leaflet left in the hotel around the kiosks,bookies before the game,May catch the eye of somebody,got to be worth a try.

To be fair, we've repeatedly made offers to assorted soccer fans over the past 26 years without a great deal of response.
