The Northern Rail games were at the DVS last year, I wouldn't worry too much.

Has the deal to play there not already been signed, hence the 10 week absence of a home game?

The ten week absence mid season is so that United can re-lay their pitch for their League One promotion campaign. We knew about that at the start so try and arrange away fixtures for those dates.

Cant we have the rail games at Hillsborough or Woodburn road?Cant see crowds being over 500 so surely enough room,The game at woodburn road lastime was alright,No worries about sponsors as there usually isnt any for first few games,anythings got to be better than doom Valley.Would be cheaper to rent i presume,Coach and horses ground at dronfield would also be a prefered choice and a great pub outside the turnstile.Only holds 2k would be ideal.

Presuming you mean Hillsborough arena, there would be nowhere near enough room there. Woodburn Road would be alright though.

The RFL have insisted we upgrade Hillsborough Arena for Reserve Grade games for 2011 so I can't think they'd allow us to play first team games there. Woodbourn Road - haven't been since that game against Workington. I was surprised they let us play there.

I assumed Eagleblade meant the Wednesday's ground. Not much happening there at the moment. I'd've thought they'd've been glad to have the extra money.

I think the Woodburn Road option should be looked into,It seems as though its only a few of the early games (Rail) that need to be moved,With the crowds for them games not much over 500/600 it should be viable,Id have thought cheaper to rent and a considerable better viewing point.

Only problem with Woodburn Road is the lack of general spectator facilities and no corporate boxes.

Being quite a new supporter i can't really give an opinion of any of the grounds stated but where Hallam FC play in crosspool holds around a 1000 i think and would keep the game still in Sheffield rather than having to trek out to Dronfeild. Imagine a world were we have a ground to call our own...Oldham albeit not a great place have gone about it the right way.

Also does anyone have any news on when shirts will be out to buy?

Sandygate Road is not even close to the standard needed for Pro RL. If its not Bramall Lane itll be Don Valley.
