I'm not a fan of dual registration.

Neither am I but I am a fan of Kyle Wood so I'm happy enough.

That's just what I was going to say but to add - it will be nice to see Woody back - doubt if he'll play in C.cup matches - in case he's cup tied.
- but maybe it will give the young 'ens time to get to grips with the standard of the Championship!

Not a fan of the dual registration,Kyle Wood comes in plays a couple then out of a couple and the scenario continues,I wouldnt be very happy if i was the one who kept coming in for him then getting dropped as soon as he was available again,Especially if i am a registered Eagles player and want to play permanently for the club,Just my opinion.Both good players but alla Burnett last year,could be a waste of time.

But whats happened to Ashley Thackeray there seems to be no news about him - released? sold? still injured? lost in france? stuck in Hull? He is(was) our best winger (last year).

These deals are strange, seeing as Mark Aston was only too willing to profess his hatred of the dual-reg system last season.

Yep but why disadvantage yourself if everyone else is doing it.

Like the bonus point system too - people may not agree but how many clubs have said - I tell you what we'll not have our bonus point.

I am not in favour of dual reg. BUT - it does mean good player like Kyle Wood will get competitive matches but I'd prefer a season long long type of system rather than recalls.

The main problem with dual reg is the lack of recall notice.

And the question of eligibility for cups and playoffs.

It's just wrong - if you're going to effectively turn CC clubs into feeders, just do it.

not to mention Ashley Peacock's long lost brother Chris...

Anyway, I agree about the dual registration system, it's a joke. However as Airborne said, why should we let ourselves be at a disadvantage just because we don't agree with it? It's like saying every team can start the season on 10 points but because we don't agree with it we'll start on 0.
