Statement from the Club
Due to an International fixture the Toulouse game cannot be confirmed for Saturday 11th June 2011, Kick Off 7.00pm (as per the RFL's fixture list). This game may be subject to change and Sheffield Eagles would not like to give information for travelling abroad, which may be changed
at a later date, recognising that fans have flights to book.
As soon as the Club receives confirmation it will post accordingly.

What a load of garbage this is. Not the clubs fault but the earlier we book, the cheaper it is. How long before we know?

Is it the England v france game on the 11th,If memory serves didnt tolouse play last years game on same day but had 5 or 6 players missing,Is that the connundrem next year,Anybody any idea when it will be sorted,Hope its not a last minute fixture change.Need to book flights.I hope it is on the 11th fell perfectly.

Assuming the game is on a Saturday there are the usual options for travel

If Toulouse have 4 players in the French team, does that mean they can call it off as little as a week before?

I mailed the RFL and have been told that there should be a decision mid January

Hopefully the snow and ice will have receeded enough to allow us to go to the travel agents and order our euros by then. If the original date is kept to that will be the weekend of my birthday (June 9th) so I think a little trip to the Melting Pot will be in order for a small glass of sweet sherry.

I mailed the RFL and they said something would be decided mid January but I haven't heard anything since.

But I did mail TOXIII direct and they seem to think it's June 11th

I have a quote for a Mini bus to Manchester for anyone wishing to go on the BMI flight work on £15 each return.
