The knockout game at the Leigh Sports Village has been switched to Thursday 2 September with a 7.30 pm kick-off.

Cue an absolute joke of an away attendance again. Ah well I'll be there.

I'm off work Friday for the England game so I'll take Thursday off also

Atherton train station is only ten minutes away by bus mate.

Good point Ian. 582 bus from just outside the station or a £5 taxi.

No probs Marty, how about Neil? Also does hawk-eye require a lift? The later you book a lift the more expensive it gets, it's like an airline.

Even Featherstone has a station. Admittedly no trains allowed there on match days......

Neil just told me he's taken the day off for the Leigh game so he'd like a lift if possible. Not sure about Hawk-eye yet, I'll contact him tomorrow, it's a bit late now.

Just looked into it and you can get back, but it's rail replacement buses and you arrive home at 1:55am. I've tried a lot of different routes and the only one that gets you home at a decent time is if you can get to Piccadilly for the 22:20 train to Sheffield (i think the number 26 bus from Leigh bus station should get you there on time)

Is this game all ticket or can you buy a ticket from the ticket office on the day?

Yeah I enjoyed it was a good day, shame the game was so one sided though and the prices inside Wembley are nothing short of ridiculous.
