Lowest at Bramall Lane,I find it quite encouraging,We'd have had 500 tops at don valley today,No free tickets and 900 paying Eagles fans,If we can get a hardcore of a 1,000 fans it is somthing to build on,As Griff has said before forget the away fans we need to build the home support,It wont happen overnight and this is a start,it might not look good to the rest of the rugby league world but who cares,Were building and with the exposure of playing at the football ground at least people know about the Eagles now and in a couple of years i dont think we'll be far off,It will take two or three years of constant marketing,spreading the word etc,At least we have something to offer now unlike don Valley,We wont find our feet till next season as it's all new,I prefer the side we sat on today and the after match speeches etc is spot on and gives a sense of togetherness and mixing together and a bit of bonding,I think it can only get better.

Wasn't there some football on the tv? And the fact that Tolousse wouldn't have brought many, I thought it was quite promising too. My husband works with a Blade fan and he's said when the FB season ends he's going to the Eagles matches with his GF. If there are a few doing that and we keep our form. Well ya never know do ya, it's true to say that it wouldn't happen if we were at the DV.

I suppose it doesn't help to attract soccer fans if you go head to head with (an admittedly unattractive) Soccer Cup Final. I don't know why we did that.

What did everyone think of having nearly 1,300 in the ground last night? Very promising in my opinion and the atmosphere was alot better too!

I would say at Don Valley we had a hardcore following of 500/600 fans,To progress we need to have at least to start with a hardcore of 1,000 Eagles fans,We seem to be getting there and it's a good base to build on,I really feel with extra marketing we should be regulary getting 2k,I think the marketing should be at the forefront for next year,It's all been a bit different this year with moving and people will be finding there feet,But next year it needs a proper push,Not a one-off match push,But proper marketing for EVERY game and i'm sure we will progress.With a hardcore support of 1k it's somthing to build on.A lot of people last night were sat inside watching it aswell.
