Look at that weekends fixtures and also factor in that Barrow play Widnes on the Tuesday of that week. So effectively they only have 3 Champ games to chose from plus Champ 1 games

If Sky want Barrow or Widnes, the Barrow v Widnes game will be moved.

They will stay. It's inexpensive, has relatively good viewing figures, and Sky Sports have no Thursday football.

Travelling from Fax this afternoon with my lad, and a quick question for any Sheffield fans. Do the stewards allow plastic bottles (soft drinks) into the ground, or is there a ban on such things?

It's not really a 'policy' - it's just that the turnstiles are electronic. Unless they install turnstiles with coin slots I can't see a way around it.

Or credit cards.

Or take it off your mobile phone credit.

Why can't someone at the Lane just send 500 tickets to away teams a couple of weeks before on a sale or return basis?

Was the hold up at the turnstiles due to the actual gates that were open or the fact that fans without tickets had to walk all the way round to Cherry Street and back again with probably 2 people in the box office.

They could do. But people wouldn't buy them. They're used to turning up five minutes before kick-off and expect to get in on time.
