Did anyone make the long trip up to York??
What the hell happened up there??
58-12 loss.....either York are going to be pretty tough this season or the our boys are in for a long season.
Depth in our squad i feel when looking at these results is going to be a big problem during the year.
A steep learning curve for some of the young boys in the team....the boys need to keep their heads up and learn from their mistakes and rectify them at training.
Just do the simple things right in the game and the results will come.
I went to the game yesterday and I saw improvement, but there is a weakness, the left side is where the tries are going in.
Fitness isn't a problem a they are still fighting to the end.
Callum is working with a relativley new and young team. I believe that they will get stronger and be able to iron out the problems as the season progresses.
It would be nice to see more away support but never mind.
Geez reading that article didnt sound good.
You need to get your defence in order to win games. I looked at some of those pictures and it just seemed there was some poor techqine in some players tackling.
If fittness isnt the problem, then Callum needs to start working on the mistakes the guys are making.
It could be a long season again for the club with not much depth and when you continue to lose by big numbers, your confidence is affected.
Lets hope for a more improved showing next week.
York were good in their off-loads and keeping the ball moving, our lads did not wrap them up enough in the tackles. We failed to get the ball moving and when we did we made stupid handling errors.
They had 3 people going in on tackles to stop our runners.
But the lads didnt let their heads drop and fought up to the final seconds of the match. Stick at it guys and it will come good in the end
