what an afternoon, from the moment we arrived the cru fans were great, really do hope we see them back in SL sooner rather than later, the scenes at the end of the game is something you will probably only see in our sport, i have to admit while chanting 'cru cru crusaders' it brought a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye knowing these great fans, doesn't matter how many, are going to lose the sport they love unless someone comes in for them. (the rfl should have backed the club like newscorp did in aus with melbourne, but thats another arguement)

Agreed. All the best to you Crusaders fans. A great day out today and you should all be proud of yourselves.

i second that i hope you get your club in a good state in the next few years and apply to come back to the sl

I've just got home and i'm proud to call myself a Hull FC fan after today....

It was the most surreal experience and very emotional to be a part of it. I can only begin to understand how it feels to have your club taken away from you and I hope that those Crusaders fans can find themselves a new club to dedicate their lives to.....

I hope we gave you the send off i feel you deserve.

The Crusader fans haven't had their club ' taken from them ' their club is unsustainable , if it was a heartland club you would be lambasting them for not having enough fans to support a SL club , sorry but your post is hypocritical

This is true.

But, from my point of view, I was gutted to see the end of Blackpool and equally gutted to see the end of the Crusaders. I really hope that we see them again, even if it is just in the Championship.

No I mean any club , if they are true RL fans then they will all be happy to watch their club play against Gateshead,Skolars and the Skorpions next season

No it isn't.... People have their own views about should they/shouldn't they have had a license.. That's a different story....

My point is, i don't care whether Crusaders only had 1000 fans (which they had more) those few people have now lost something which has got into their blood.... I feel for each and every one of them as i would if it was Wakey or any other club..... You could just feel the passion pulsing around the ground at the end and EVERY fan on the way out offered 'Thanks' and a 'Handshake'.....

If you have a problem or don't like them then fine.. They're gone now so just drop it.. But let their fans come on here and see some kind/polite comments and hopefully pick up some great memories which will keep them watching and supporting Rugby League... They don't need narrow minded individuals kicking them when they're down!!

That one thing they don't know if they will have a team to support ..Nearly all they key players have been taken by other S/L teams ..You wasn't at the game so just leave it for the fans who where I for one wouldn't like it to happen to my team ..I have supported Hull F C since a baby in arms (1941 ) To see what we did on Sunday you have to feel for those fans or any other teams fans who have lost they S/L status ..Like a poster said there is a time and a place for smart ars= remarks but that time is not now

The Hull fans were class

Thought the passsion you guys showed yesterday and the way you supported your team was just fantastic.

It put the supporters of some of the more established clubs to shame. I would happily swap some of your fans for some of ours.

The Crusaders fans and the players have been badly let down by the owners/administrators.



I hope you can make something happen in North Wales and that you have a team to support next year.

wasnt at the game but must echo what all the fc fans have said im sorry to see the crusaders fans out of SL, been to wrexham twice and the fans were brilliant as they were at the galpharm last year for the play offs, cant imagine what its like to lose your club, it was bad enough for me when we had that awful merger job, heres hoping that crusaders have some sort of team next year.

I was hoping for a derby game against the Crusaders but now have to settle for Wakefield.Hopefully see you at least in the Championship from a Widnes fan.
