I get the feeling he will want to play on and not go out with a whimper. Having said that his injury record wasn't brilliant before he joined Catalans.

The problem is that Escare has rendered Brent effectively useless.. I can't think of any other position he could play!

Perhaps Webb could replace Pryce?

Pryce could play in the centres.

scored a try today and showed there is still gas in the old tank. Its great to have exiting young French players to look at and call the next big thing - like some do every time a player like Escare, Pellisier e.t.c comes good but a good squad is built on experienced players like Webb and having him back will protect the young players like Escare and make sure he has a long and sucessful career like Brent and doesnt turn in to the next Remy Marginet

Brent Webb may protect some of the younger players but it can't be long before he comes up against someone that will give him a major dose of his own medicine.

I guess your refering to him being a bit of a niggler. And it would appear fairly obvious that over his ten year or so career he almost certainly has. So not quite sure what your getting at there?
