In summary, what can Catalans do for the next few months before Scott Dureau returns?

1. Keep Daryl Millard at full back, which they are now doing as a stop gap.

2. Promote unblooded and diminutive reserve full back Morgan Escare.

3. Promote William Barthau to scrum half and move Thomas Bosc to full back.

4. The most off the wall long shot, which is to try to get Clint Greenshields back on loan from Nth Queensland, if he will come, and with the understanding that if Matt Bowen is injured Greenshields returns to Townsville immediately

Another option is for Catalans to deregister Webb and recruit the recently sacked Canberra Raiders full back Josh Dugan for a year, if he will come. If the NRL deregisters him he will have fewer choices and may be open to an offer from Catalans.

Dugan has been sacked, so is available. In a report in the SMH, it says "French rugby is an option" which I took to mean rugby union. Better that, really.
