- Summer
- A compromise between traditional Elite1 clubs and big cities (Nantes, Lille and Strasbourg are mentioned but nothing at all concrete at this stage).

Interesting. High time the season was aligned with every other pro league in the world. Hope it comes off, but my concerns, as always, are regarding finance. Can the clubs afford to go full-time?

Strasbourg? About as likely as Glasgow joining the SL in 2014.
I think the move to summer could be a really bad idea, there are a number of players who can do some Elite and some Championship at the same time, can the French afford to buy out the whole contracts?
As you can't even buy a French national jersey I won't hold my breath on this being pulled off.
