Decent player but been shocking for us this year. Hopefully the move will do him good and play in the 'pelo' role. Strong on exit sets, finishes well etc.

if he can keep his fitness then he could be ok - regarding Vaccari,he's done ok when he's been given the chance tho' the service to him has been quite poor imo

Damien Blanch is a direct replacement to Chris Walker, who is definitively come back to home.

I can confirm that resident sang-et-or.net correspondent Chris Walker has left the club after being royally shafted by the club!

IMO the club have acted disgracefully on this matter and should be ashamed with themselves replacing a player who was our top scorer up until late july with Damien Blanch!

his comments were not exactly complementary towards the club/BG and 'shafted' is probably the most appropriate word - he must have been in the same queue as OE et al for the famous 'backhand'
i'm sure ALL fans wish him the best for him & his family - maybe he could give us an update on the twins & his future plans etc ?

It was wise of Chris to not attend the end of season function! Had he attended I suspect there would have been more than just BG on the receiving end!

Crap on the pitch and trouble off it.

on the pitch,two home matches stand out a) the demolition of the Wires & b) the gutsy perforrmance in the cup v Salford - the rest was very ordinary stuff sometimes embarassing - they did well against the mighty Saints until OE was stupidly (and correctly) sent off - the rest is instantly forgettable
off the pitch - there were obviously clashes of personalities and the 'alleged' drinking culture amongst a clique of players would have upset BG & co.
