I would go with Clint if available. As much as a home-grown Frenchman is great, anything but the best available FB is crazy talk - it's a sure way to spill out trys.

I would have thought, if fit, Bosc, Pelo Mounis, Bently, Ferriol, Fakir, Elima and Guisset would be first on my picks - with the big question being Justin Murphy. Sure, Clint would be on the list but I'd start with top notch non-nationalised French players.

In general yes. The bottom line is that we have no French FB speciallist, it would be a waste of time giving the job to some Ozzie Jobber when we could develop a French player, but having a top quality nationalised player would help set the foundation for the rest of the side.
