If they're going to get an NRL gig - and that's where the money is - then they'll have to do a bang-up job over here.

| Agreed, but it doesn't aid continuity and long termism for us.
For me the jury is out.

| In my natty little prediction game I have us down for less points that 2012. I think that would equate to about a 7th place finish in the league.

So it's going to be:
1. Warrington.
2. Leeds
3. St. Helens
4. Wigan
5. Hull FC
6. London
7. Catalans
8. Huddersfield

| I only predict our scores (PM me if you want to join in).
I looked at where I got us to and where that points haul would see us finish on average.

There is nothing to be ashamed of in finishing behind the Old Enemy. I predict that Tony Rea will motivate the London forward pack to play at their best, and behind their "go forward," he will unleash the Power of Gower.
Expect Dorn, Robertson and Dixon each to score a large number of tries off attacking plays initiated by Craig Gower (who is set to rival Scott Dureau as SL scrum half of 2013).

Confucius, he say: You get nowhere in life relying on geriatric scrum-half.
Although I do think they might not be so apocalyptically bad with a real coach rather than that bloke last year who won the job in a competition

| So with one likely out of reach trophy left to play for this season, how would you describe the current performance of L-Fres?
As the local paper lead with "Dragons - the flame is extinguished."
With the proximity of other clubs in the league the coach has told his players the play offs start for us now.
Added pressure?

don't have a problem with LF personally, I think he's the right man tho' I don't like the 'input' from DW - maybe this is holding back any positive work from LF ?
you can't blame LF for the amount of bad handling by the Catalans against Hull - some good performances I thought especially the french lads again (Eloi in particular) who unfortunately lacked any support from the imports - Leon is definitely not worth his place and should be 'rested' IMO - good to see Scott getting back to his old self
leave LF to do his job unhindered by higher authorities and we will see a dramatic improvement again, IMO

| Who is to blame for the shambling attack on Sunday then? With similar personnel we had a bit more to offer last year than five drives and a kick when we had a set on the opponents line!
I like LF btw and think it's important for patience to be given to him.

| The problem is we were embarrassed under Walters and spoilt under Robinson.
There is clearly something wrong with Pryce and its interesting to see he was rested last week and we won.
There has been plenty of reliance on Menzies which is now an issue as he is on his swansong and needs replacing.
Bosc is neither in nor out of the team... aaaarrrghhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Having said that I want to stick with Lo Fres and give him time... will Bernard?

errh no, will David ?
Thomas needs a 'rest' IMO - he found life difficult without Scott and a few games out will be good for him and the squad

| I agree with the general consensus regarding Pryce, I think he's lacked ideas and contributed to the flatness of the attack, whilst not having the same fleet footedness he used to have. Bosc has been in and out of the team and not looked as fit as he has in the past. I'd like to see Barthau given more game time and paired up with Dureau at half back.

| Thing is, pryce has always been a strong running half, not a visionary playmaker. If we signed maguire from leeds, you wouldn't expect him to kick us about the park, why expect it from pryce. Pryce is a good player, but he offers us what we already have in a number of other players. We are much better off with a fit bosc on the pitch to organise, kick and make plays.

| Menzies for coach.
His mate Dessie Hasler went from player to winning coach with very little gap, and he has half the football brain of Menzies.

| I do think the influence of Keegan Smith has been missed a lot more than most realise.
I haven't seen enough of Lo-n-Fresh's Dragons (one game, another one to come at Sodal) to really get a handle on his approach to the game, but unless someone like Sir starts pointing out major flaws in his methods then I'd not be advocating change at this stage. He's had a lot of misfortune - Scott, mainly - to deal with and it's been a tough year, a tough baptism if you like.

Valid point about Keegan Smith I feel John
He was well respected by the players who waxed lyrical about his fitnesss techniques as well as his incredible knowledge of dietary matters not least his 'Paleo diet' which transformed the lives of several of the current squad, Scott & Clint to name but two
