Vikings Replay
Formed in 1937 and widely recognised as the towns’ ‘Family Club’, given its long and proud history of generations of the same family representing the team, Widnes St Maries ARLFC have recently reopened their club house and are in the process of trying to build a new customer base to help support their youth and open age teams.
One of the many new initiatives is a weekly get-together at their Brentfield base. The event known as ‘Vikings Replay’ will take place on consecutive Tuesday nights at 7.30pm and will be an ideal opportunity for Vikings fans to assemble and re-live the clubs’ previous game which will be played in-full on the big screen.
The first ‘Vikings Replay’ featuring a re-run of the Widnes Vikings versus Batley Bulldogs Co-operative Championship clash, will take place on Tuesday 2nd August at 7.30pm.
