Reading this it looks like you could do with a 'gud' English teacher.
Would imagine the usual suspects in the Wigan area i.e. Pats,Judes,Bridge etc

Will you be playing for Bridge and threatening to leave to go to Pats for a world record transfer fee again?

| Just heard Hindley are only having an U17's team so if anyone knows the 17/18 year old lads too old for U17's but don't want to play open-age yet, tell them Rose Bridge has 2 U18's sides

Since when - the 18s are in the NWC Premier Division. They won the first last season and have an under 17s to move up from last year. Nothing has been said to the league and since I do the fixtures.....
Is it wishful thinking since Ince couldn't complete their fixtures in NWC last season?

No the 2nd team was a run out for lads not included in the National League squad. NWC isn't a priority when you are in the national league

Just remind me what league the National Cup winners play in. National YL is not for the best teams, plenty of better teams won't/can't enter.
That's not a go at NYL since my club also play in it, just that some people think it's the ba all and end all of 18s rugby.

No but the NYL is more important than NWC 3 in which teams turn up with about 11 or 12 men each week. Its a e league with e players and just a run out for players not playing in our first team. What team do you play for? Expect to see Ince's first team challenging at the top this year aswell, some good lads come through and a quite a few lads in their 3rd season.

Since I'm female and well over 18.....
You may think that NYL is more important but those who play in NWC may well think differently. Everyone has their own priorities.
Just think you're treating the lower divisions with contempt. Yes some teams do struggle but generally from more development areas where there isn't strength in depth.
It's great that some clubs can put out more than 1 team but at the end of the day entering and then not even completing the season is no different than some teams only fielding 11/12 players a week and forfeiting the odd game.
As I have roles to play in both set ups, albeit it a different levels then perhaps I can just see things from both sides.

Its not the NWC I am talking about, its the NWC division 3 that I was refferring to. I was just stating that the Rose Bridge coaching staff will take the NYL more seriously than the NWC 3.

Turning up with 11 players makes the game harder and shows a great deal of commitment from the players who do it, week in and week out, for the love of the game. I would have a lot more respect for a team that does that than one who lets other teams down because their 'fringe players' don't fancy a run out.

It wasn't anything like that, over a season players will quit, players will get signed (we had 3), players will get bans and players will get injured. Combine all of those with a squad of 35 it left us with about 23 faces. What should Bridge do, take 13 to a NYL game and give the NWC 10, or take the strongest possible 17 available and leave the others out. Thought so . . .

I don't have a problem with you blowing your club's trumpet but it seems they didn't teach you sportsmanship. Unfortunately not all players have the same opportunities as you but they continue to play on regardless. It takes a better player to turn up week in and week out in a team of 11 than one who runs out with 17. A 'e player' can hide in a big squad, but every player has to play a part in a team of 11. Don't be so disrespectful to other players and other clubs. It might not always run so smoothly for you - you never know what the future brings.

In fairness the e player remark was out of order, but the issue reguarding the two teams had nothing to do with the players it was the coaches decision. Nothing the players could have done about it and believe me it upset some of the players, but for me it was a correct decision.
