Forgot to mention about our match at weekend.
We played Milford Marlins in the league cup (Top of Premier and unbeaten)
Cant quite remember the score myself due to the intesity of the match but we lost something like 6-22,6-32,16-32.

Although they where the best side wev played this season, I didnt think they where that good, certainly if they played in premier last year, or the year before they would have been hammered by most teams.
Apparantly we are the closest game theyve played all season

This sunday we play Normanton Knights in the Yorks Cup, although they are a premier team, I think we are quite confident of a win against them.

watched the mighty joes beat oulton 2day play good in the first half but it did'nt help when they had 2 players in the bin and 1 sent off in the first half
joes was leading by 20-4 at half time second half was not as good as they let oulton back in the game but managed 2 win 34-22

Playing downhill we played well in the first half stretching away to a 16.0 lead. Let in a soft try right on half time to lead 16 .10 but always hard 2nd half against the hill.

22.20 up 10 mins to go but we blew it. Good performance though. Think we've dropped to bottom league next week. Away at Emley Moor.

No it's because we are a very young inexperienced side. Our U16s from last year should really be playing U17 rugby but to their credit and against their better judgement agreed to step up to enable our 4/5 genuine 18s to continue to play for the club.

They've shown a lot of bottle against bigger and older teams but if you'd rather call them sh3t, hudd giants, thats up to you.

Im guessing you will effectivily swap with Fryston. League below will be good to get confidence back again!

Decent set of lads, fast on the outside. No7 for them had a good game against us, liked their 13 aswell. No9 is a bit firey but all in all a decent rugby playing team.

Fryston is Near/In Cas. They are a good team really, quite big- we played them in cup they came out of blocks quickly and scored out wide alot (probably mostly our fault though). they tired a little in the second half but we didnt't have any subs amd ended up losing. Our worst displat of season but taking nothing away from fryston, they were a good side. hudds giants- go on here for all location etc www.frystonwarriors.co.uk

The no13 is their best player by far.

Agree there, only one that really stood out when we played them.

Good game on sunday - considering the conditions, and i see what you mean about the ref, equally awful for both teams.
You lot deserved the result, our forwards where poor, and lacked any enthusiasm to make a tackle on our line. And our 9 getting the sin-bin for gobbing off closed the game for us.
Good hospitality from the locals after the game.
I suppose I cant complain - I grabbed a couple of tries.
