The highest rating TV sport in Australia was given 14 million a season for FTA TV for 10 years while the AFL was getting hundreds of millions all because of the SL war, yet you seem to think if the war didn't happen, RL wouldn't have got anything from Murdoch and Packer even though they wouldn't have had their claws in it?
RL was the Leading sport in 1995 for money mad from TV contracts, it left every other code out here for dead, but you seem to think it wouldn't have had a pay day so Murdoch could build his Pay TV network across Australia

I've had PTV since 1995 you idiot and I got rid of it last September/October as I only has it for Rugby League.
Since I can watch any RL game on the net and I get 5 games a week on FTA TV, why should I bother?
My wife watches movies, she said it was a waste of time having PTV as all the movies on PTV are reruns and she watches on the net. So what pay another $100 a month for something when you get it all over the net anyway?
