I suspect he has now played his last game as a Robin. A sad way for him now to finish with us, if we don't extend his contract. If this proves to be the case, he's not alone in being sub par this year in his role and a bit of a temperamental liability. I personally think he's not where he should be in development terms, given his age and first team match experience.

Hard to see him getting an NRL gig.

If we let him go for nowt, we're idiots, he's what? About twenty three or so, and we've developed him, to let him go for nothing is an astounding lack of responsibility, even for Papa Remington.

I think he is 26, and I seem to remember the club had the chance to sell him last year but wouldn't let him go and now he will be off for nowt, to another S/L club if rumours are to be believed. And it can probably be traced back to Chester dropping him him for Wembley when he was playing out of his skin!

He's 25, doesn't look fit, doesn't run his weight, doesn't show show aggression in the right way and doesn't put in enough of a defensive shift, He'll probably end up at saints or salford

Green has gone backwards at a fair old rate this season. He flatters to deceive and the folk that rate him also appear to be the same ones who slate Tilse regardless of performance. Home grown blinkers, as previously used to gloss over Welham's years of averageness.

I don't think it should be 'hes a world beater, must keep him, disgrace if we let him go' or 'hes rubbish good riddance'.
Hes a decent SL prop, not been great this season but has shown in glimpses he's capable of more just needs to find more consistency. He's at the age where he needs to start showing more in terms of development, maybe under anew coaching set up he would. Plus we've spent years and £ developing it would be annoying if we said no thanks off you go and then he started tearing it up somewhere else.
That said, it all comes down to how much he wants. Our cap management has been a travesty and he's not worth paying over the odds for, not that we would ever know these demands or how much we offer him. I can't see him getting and Nrl gig if he does I imagine it will be 2nd grade couple of years living in Oz thenback over here.
I'd like us to attempt to keep him, make him a decent offer 2/3 years. If he doesn't develop much more he's still a decent non quota squad player, if he does then great good business to keep him. It's not easy to replace players these days, quality homegrown players are pretty scarce and huge overturn of players isn't healthy (seems inevitable given this year's debacle) but if seems sensible to try and minimise it as much as possible
