Who or what positions do we need to be properly competitive next season. We need to sign Lunt, Larroyer and Welham onto long term deals. But who else do you think. Puletua would be good, but only if he doesn't count on the quota space, if he does I think were better looking elsewhere.

Strong rumour on Clarkson. I guess he'll take Burke's spot, if it happens. Depending on what happens with Horne and Larroyer, we've got a decent number of backrowers, but a bit short on variety of talents.

I think we need a prop to replace Puletua. Allgood, Tilse, Green, Walker, +1. Maybe Cox will re-find some form, but even so.
Then it depends on whether Lunt wants to stay. Decent hookers are pretty thin on the ground at the moment. Boudebza has been a find, but we still need another imo.

So powerful prop, big back rower (though changes to the interchange rules should help our smaller pack) and Lunt/new hooker would be my priorities.

got to fairly agree with you M.R. but i feel wee need two big props dont think cox will make the grade imo. if we could pay off tilse that would be a bonus but i hope he will improve.

We need two bad ass props, a strike centre and a modern mobile loose forward.

The bottom line is that any new player we sign for next alpha centaurus, needs to be a good fit to our new - we're all-in this together as Brothers in Arms ethos. If not, we'll be in Dire Straits, as the club won't be calling the Neptune anymore.

Blairs been tested at 13 earlier in the year and the fact he's not played their since (even before our HB crisis) says it all. SR is his best position in SL. Sign welham up and I think we're okay for centre, definitely will have better quality next year than what we've currently got playing in centres atm. Sign Lunt up, sign Puletua up if we can, if replace if not replace him and sign another big nasty prop. This with a big nasty strike second rower and we would be going places next year. Blair, new strike SR, Horne and Larroyer good enough for back row.

Would look good Id say! Would push players like Green, Larroyer etc down the pecking order but it would add to needed depth, especially when the inevitable 100's of injuries come in.

We really need a wide running strike second rower. Add to that hopefully Shaun Lunt and Puletua and I don't know that we need that much more. Possibly another big prop.
I'd definitely be looking to offload Cox. Absolute waste of potential, he's a liability now and actually seems to have gone backwards from being 19.

We have got a wide running second rower in Larroyer we have just been using him as a battering ram this season instead. He was so much more of a threat in attack last season when we played him as a second rower rather than an extra prop. I think we need a more dynamic, powerful/bigger second rower to compliment our current lot, a hooker (Lunt or other), and a nasty prop or 2.

I've said the same thing on a few occasions this year. I don't understand why we are changing Larroyer's game like we are.

Brian Kelly would be a good recruit for you.
