We seem to have lost a few songs over the years but hopefully some of the Red and White choirmasters will come up with some ingenious ones for the semi and even the final if we mange to get there. Heard this one from a link on one of the rovers sites tonight, (Man U, come on you reds) it would require a little tweaking regarding the words but I'm sure it could be done. We still have some good songs, just don't spread due to just some people not trying to sing along. The Campese song is a class one imo.

I agree with your comment regarding some people not getting into the atmosphere and singing with the masses on the terraces.
I Know where I stand in the East stand that most are very vociferous and really get behind the team, but there are also quite a few that sometimes make me wonder if they have any emotions at all.
These are the ones that no matter what the occasion or how good the atmosphere is in the ground, refuse to get involved, they just stand there very quiet and emotionless, like cardboard cut outs.
I stand not far away from where a large group in the middle top of east stand try every week to get the east stand going with an array of songs and chants most of which are very innovative and catchy, I hope they keep it up as it what makes the east stand what it is, unique imo, just as it was at the old Craven Park Holderness road in the eighties, plus dare I say...as was the old Threepenny Stand at the old Boulevard.

We need to get it together tomorrow, too many times we have 3/4 different songs going at the same time, RTID, Red Army, Red Red Robin, Disco dancing Rovers are my personal faves.

Happy to cheer good play but those 'football'' repetitive chants just pi€€ me off as does -trumpet/drums/mascots/ s in fancy dress/ fat blokes/women in replica shirts/wigs and face paint ( unless your under 10) and knobs who wave at the camera when on TV other than that do what you want!

As an aside though, I'm not one for trawling other clubs' forums on here generally, but it's noticeable on here (and in the difference in ticket sales between the two clubs) how up for it you lot are for this. It reminds me of us in 2009, but we've turned into the Wigan fans we mocked then now.

I hope our players aren't as complacent as our fans.
