This is 3 weeks running in the squad ,but not in the 17 on game day

Apparently trained well all week, and surprise surprise, turned up on Saturday and could hardly run.

Man of the match for me. 23 tackles in first half alone. Even sprinted off when subbed on 77 minutes! Not often the west stand give standing ovations.

Also my man of the match, great in defence, really starting to take it to teams from dummy half and two excellent assists for Kelly and Sio.

Proving to be an inspired signing,for me it was welham mom,boudebza 2nd,salter 3rd.

Different level today and should shut the people up who claim he has no running game. Tackles well above his size too, an rarely misses.

I had him down as my man of the match too, followed by Sio & Kelly. He needs a 3 year deal on the table now.

As for Lunt, well he's probably aggravated his back whilst attempting to up Rovers back.

Welham had a great game fantastic take and pass for Mantomato's first.

Salter, excellent in defence, completely shut that side down and is developing a Welhamesque fend.

Talking of which, As on of The Skein said today "Mellor will wake having nightmares about Puletua's multiple hand offs!".

Saw Sio chatting to Salter a couple of times today during breaks in play, looked to be advising and praising him. Really nice to see. But back to this post, Boudezba has really stepped up a level in the last few games and his confidence is showing through in his game, we need him signed up sharpish.

Awwww.....come on 'Canada red' you queried Micky Weyman's run out down under and have now queried Shaun Lunt's non appearance on a thread (rightly) praising John Boudebza...

Aye, Lunt's got a spinal problem ffs, you do not want to mess around with that.

There are plenty of ex pros of all sports playing locally who have chronic knee problems.

John Boudebza was outstanding and fully justified his MOM.

He made 6 marker tackles in the first half to add to his dummy half scoots and tackles and his awareness of Kelly and Blair field position clearly reflected a lot of hard work on the training field. He created two tries today also.

Salter was outstanding in defence, which was what we needed today, but lacks a cutting edge going forward.

Boudebza was outstanding but, didn't get MOM

French John was MOM all day long today.

I was really impressed with Boudebza yesterday and I think the ovation he received from the fans shows that most in the ground were impressed by what he did.

You can see the confidence he has built up in this extended run in the side. He is running with the ball more, kicking when he thinks the chance is there and generally doing a bit more when he has the ball. The fact that for his size he tackles well and has a great engine are additional bonuses to his play.

I aren't getting over confident yet, as he has plenty of way to go to establish himself as one of the better 9's in the league but he seems to have made great strides so far this year.

He did ok

goes to the same leisure outlet that I use and he really is very small, but he plays like a stocky r burrows and gotta say he looks a good signing
