With only East stand tickets left on sale for the first home game it looks like we could possibly be heading towards a sell out.

Would be a fantastic for us with our average attendance rising along with season pass sales in the last two years. The capacity of the stadium also increased in the off season to over 12000 which would make selling this game out even more of a massive achievement. The clubs really gone all out to market this game well and push tickets. So hats off to them.

Achieving a record attendance will rest on how many South Stand tickets are sold.

What is the capacity of CP now. I thought it was 11,750.

No South Stand tickets will be sold, all have been given to Archie as part of the ongoing sponsorship deal with them, as per last season. How many turn up is anyone's guess.

Capacity is now 12,225 after re-assessment, presumably of the standing areas of the ground.

With East stand tickets now the only stand still selling tickets and with more than a week to go I would say it's a fair bet the current attendance record has already been surpassed. IMO, the East stand is the most popular (it's certainly the largest capacity of all the stands) and should in all honesty attract enough fans for the Sold Out notices to go up prior to kick off.

North stand tickets were available to certain council staff at a discount , £16 a ticket which is a good price (not too cheap and not too dear)

Leeds were given an allocation for the Southern Terrace today. Possibly 1-200.

You would be better off opting for the East stand. Plenty of Leeds fans in there over the last 2 years without any problems. Just don't try and stand in the middle.

So we still have 1,000 spaces in the East Stand? We should offer 500 tickets to Leeds as we won't shift that many at full price this close to the game. Just stipulate they can't have my spot.

If Kelly and Campese are both fit, then every genuine Hull KR fan should show up at the ground.

Weyman and Allgood will have to stand up and be counted this weekend.

There's one genuine fan that won't be there and she's not happy about it at all, my missus !! I tell her she can't have everything in this world, I've brought her to Spain to live in the sunshine for god's sake !! She'll have to be satisfied listening to the game on Kingston Radio with our next door neighbour, a rhino would you believe lol !! At least we're going to Calella for a few days so she can go to Perpignon for the Catalan game. She says I won't be wearing the black and white irregulars but we'll see lol !!

I used to work with Syd Sheppard over 25 years ago now, I can assure you he is very real, he used to be a storeman and whenever you went to the stores to get a part you heard the clattering of his old style typewriter long before you got there as he was firing letters out to all and sundry about rovers! East stand regular for years and a damn good bloke

My daughters ex worked with Syd but I know him from Flower Pot and Rovers. Syd certainly knows how to get under peoples skins, he has made it an art form.
